TOMORROWLAND BELGIUM 2017 & ANTWERP

After loads of requests from friends to write about my Tomorrowland experience, I have finally decided to take the time to share about my super uh??????-mazing time spent at one of the biggest music festivals in the world.

Don't get me wrong, I had fun and I had the LITTEST company but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I was jet lagged + the heavy rain really killed it for me and being under the influence of alcohol made it even more overwhelming.

IRREGARDLESS I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT ANTWERP IS OFFICIALLY ONE OF MY FAVOURITE CITIES!! I really liked how it had the ghost town vibes! I guess I got a thing for quiet places. AND THE TRAIN STATION LOOKS SUPER GRAND JUST LOOK AT IT!!

It's funny how I actually spent a bomb on 3 outfits and accessories (even though I was only going for one day) for the fest but ended up swapping outfits with my sister at the very last minute.

Here's a breakdown of the cost:

- One-day magical pass for Friday, Week 2 (Tomorrowland tickets) : SGD270

- Airbnb in Antwerp for 2 nights : SGD 444 (for 4 pax)

- Train ticket from Paris to Antwerp : SGD57

- Train ticket from Antwerp to Boom (Tomorrowland) : SGD17.54

- Taxi fare from the fest back to our Airbnb : 60 Euros

Expenses inside the fest:

- Per Meal: 10 Euros

- Tomorrowland Flag: SGD 60

- Water: 4 Euros

- Vodka mix: 7 Euros i think?? for a cup

How did we get there?:

We took a train from Antwerp's main station to Boom and then the free shuttle bus to the fest

I was really high and I bought the flag on impulse but no ragrets tho.. it really saved me from the rain, mud, covered my ass when I peed on the grass because we were so far away from the toilet & now it's used as a curtain for my window heh.

There were loads of irritating people and by that I mean really disrespectful drunk men that would pull your bra strap, smack your face and ass, try to steal my friggin bun bun ears and what not but i'll excuse you this time misters because really.... what can I expect being in a land full of drunkards?!

I didn't even stay past the first half of Axwell ^ Ingrosso's set (you know I luuuuv them so much ;'( ) at the main stage (and we missed dj snake's set :( ) because we were so worn out, we didn't give a damn anymore & we decided to go back 2hours before the ending.

Well to sum it all up, the entire experience was really tiring and it really wasn't worth all the hype and stress and I doubt that I would like to go through this whole thing again anytime soon... Nonetheless, I enjoyed myself and I made loads of new friends ^.^!
