Rome in 2 Days

Famous for it's rich history, Rome is a must go destination in your lifetime. This is one city that will never leave you disappointed!

Read on how we roamed around this enchanting city in 2 days!

Though I wished we had better plan this

Day 1

1. Vatican City

Set off early to avoid the crowd from tours. Make sure you buy your tickets in advanced because the queue is endless! We made this mistake and ended up just exploring and taking pictures outside.

2. Spanish Steps

Unfortunately, the steps were closed for cleaning when we were there. However, there are many other cool stuff around the area like the Fontana della barcaccia (yes you can drink the water from the fountain) or do some window shopping!

3. Get lost and go on a photo hunting adventure!

We found lots of picturesque ootd spots when we were aimlessly walking around. So don’t be afraid to get lost and discover unexpected treasures! Spanish steps closed? Never mind! We found this stairway that led to a hotel and it was good enough!

Day 2

1. Trevi Fountain

Wake up at 5am to avoid the crowd at the Trevi Fountain! Don’t forget to toss a coin! Legend has it that by tossing a coin, it would ensure you a return back to Rome.

2. Visit the Colosseum

No trip to Rome is complete without a trip to the Colosseum! Have your breakfast at any of the cafes nearby & marvel at the place which once held gladiator matches.

3. Visit the Roman Forum

Just a short walk away is the Roman forum.

4. Experience Italy's Happy Hour - Aperitivo

Stiill hungry after a whole pizza for lunch? Enjoy alcoholic drinks and free flow of snacks in the late afternoon for as low as Euro10!
