Copenhagen

...was stunningly beautiful. It felt like home and it was so peaceful throughout my entire trip. The locals were also really friendly and helpful!
This place is built on trust - at least from what I see at the train station haha. They don't have a gantry like in Singapore but only a machine for you to scan your train card.
Imagine how many people can actually sneak a free ride! However, they do have people checking often onboard if whether you bought a ticket/ scan your card. So it's better to not take the risk of paying a 300 euros fine.
And another good thing about this place is that most of the attractions are all within walkable distance.
Take note that most stores don't accept cash. Most of the transactions are done via card!
Copenhagen is my first official solo trip and all these memories will forever be kept dearly in my heart. And I will defintely nott forgetting my dinn
I booked an airbnb apartment for SGD 197 (2 nights) in the city centre so most of the attractions were within walkable distance.
The host was away so I had the whole apartment to myself! Lucky me :) Loved the typical Scandinavian furnished room. It was really big for one person and there's also a couch and a huge TV! The lighting and background is good for selfies too!

The Neighbourhood...

Really considering redecorating my room back in Singapore....
Day 1
So I was really lucky!! I matched with this really nice Danish animator student on Tinder and he was kind enough to take me around the city by foot and I also got to learn more about their culture, history and also animation!

Isit just me but he kinda looks like Eddie Redmayne HAHAHA

First stop, the Famous Little Mermaid! (not this)

But this ! My dream finally came true!!! I've always been in love with mermaids ever since I was a kid and I've been dreaming to visit this statue ! It's really small though but... but anyway, one item ticked off my bucket list.

THE MARBLE CHURCH! When you're inside, look up and you'd be amazed at what you see.

Had a taste of CPH's famous ice cream at Nyhavn! It definitely wasn't cheap... It costed me around 12 Euros... And I learnt that Nyhavn is pronounced as "New-Hound".

This was where Hans Christian Andersen used to live at!

Wax figure of Andersen in a souvenir store

Burger king meal for Euros 8.

A mini cinema . Really cute!

Day 2
Spent the whole day Tivoli, an amusement park alone. The queues were short and I managed to ride all the rides there. The adult ticket costs around SGD50 which is much more worth it than Universal Studios Singapore because there are a lot more thrilling rides.
Fun fact! Walt Disney was inspired to create Disneyland after visiting Tivoli.

There's also a big garden with loads of pretty colurful flowers which is nice for photo taking.

Day 3
Went around the city with my new friend, Rico from Greenland and... Tinder on my last day to do some last minute shopping. Rico is one of the sweetest & funniest guys I have ever met! I'm telling you girls to swipe right for him if you ever see his profile.

Accepted Rico's challenge to climb all the way to the top of Our Saviour Church.

Then we took a boat tour at Nyhavn which brought us to some of the city's attractions.

^ Copenhagen's library (regretted not going inside)

We had so much fun touring around that we lost track of time and I almost missed my flight! He was nice enough to send me off to the departure gate and there, we parted ways =')
