On June 2016, I decided to venture to Europe solo (or maybe not) because the first half of the year was a super terrible one. So, I told myself, " Hey you deserve a good long break" and there I went on to book a plane ticket in Mid May to Paris.

My route:
Singapore -> Paris -> Copenhagen -> Paris -> Rome -> Santorini -> Paris -> Singapore
For the whole 21 days, I spent a total of SGD4,000 inclusive of flight, stay and expenses.
PARIS
Going to Paris was a really good idea for me as my Sister lives there and with that, I was able to save up a lot on accommodation.
Initially, I wanted to go solo but it got really lonely(especially since my sis was too busy to take me out)... and so I decided to use Tinder! I know it may sound really foolish of me to be resorting to doing that but hey! we gotta take risks sometimes! Of course, you got to be smart when choosing who to trust and meet. I was really fortunate enough to meet really nice people, of different backgrounds, who brought me around and taught me things about their culture! And I still do keep in touch with some of them! Tinder is not all just about hook ups, there are many locals that are GENUINELY SINCERE about taking you around without expecting you to return some special favours. Ultimately, it's still your choice and how you see it.

I flew via Vietnam Airlines for 12hours. Return air flight costed me $960.
I had to stop over at Ho Chi Minh City for 45mins.

Day 1 of Paris begins! Had Crepes for Brunch near Notre Dame.

Seine river

Notre Dame

Lover's Lock Bridge
Sadly, I couldn't find the bridge with all the lovers locks :(
From what I heard, this was the original bridge but, the locks were removed due to their weight and also pollution to the Seine river (throwing of keys).
Anyway... there is still a small area where people can still attach the locks and so I bought mine from a nearby souvenir shop for EURO 8.
Attaching love locks around the world especially in Paris, is an item on my bucketlist. Even though I didn't have a partner, I had to do it. So this lock is to symbolise the love I have with my best girls that stood by me through my tough times <3.

Louvre

We (my sister and her friends) went clubbing later that night. First we went to Heritage, the music SUCKED BIG TIME so we hopped to a latino club which was so much more better and I got so wasted that night. Entrance was EURO 30 for female.

Day 2 : Eiffel Tower
Brunch

And yes... you need to take as many pictures as you can because its the Eiffel Tower

So proud of this photo taken and photoshopped by me!

This was my mood the entire time I was at the eiffel tower. Why? Because it was exceptionally crowded because of the Eurocup and everyone was shouting here and there.

Dinner at Le Coq ~ I had Beef Tar Tar (it was around 28 Euros incl the sides)

Day 3 Arc De Triumph & Shopping

Wonderful ambience at Laduree. I was enjoying my tea break until we were told to evacuate as there was a bomb threat nearby. Apparently, an empty car was parked in the middle of the road really close to us.
So many police present at the scene... roads were blocked and we couldn't go to Zara as the street was blocked off :( We went home earlier than expected in the end because of this :(

I spent the next 3 days in Copenhagen, Denmark! You can read about my trip here!
