4D3N Krabi

We travelled in Dec 2015 (christmas period) which was the worst decision ever. Paid almost $400 for return flight FOR ONE person (yes, I was that desperate to have a getaway).

We stayed at De Andaman Hotel which was just a 10mins walk away from Krabi Town.

Day 1 : Since we arrived in the evening, we only went to the Krabi weekend night market. We took the shuttle bus from our hotel.

Day 2 : Booked a tour for Huay Tho Waterfall & Elephant Trekking

**note to self : never wear gladiators to trek

After the elephant trek, I swore to myself to never support any activities that involves enslaving animals. The poor elephants were being treated cruelly by the guides... They would use a sharp hook to knock their heads when they take the wrong route or misbehave... It really hurts to see them receive such poor treatment when they should be in the wild roaming free.

After the tours, we went to Railay Beach from Ao nang.

Day 3 : Phi Phi Islands Boat Tour

Booked the tour with our hotel for $79 per pax. This is the standard price of the tour package everywhere. If you are lucky enough you can get it at a discounted price when you bargain.

First stop , bamboo islands free and easy for 40 minutes. A peaceful and tranquil beach that is free from tourists. The sand was so soft and the waters were crystal clear.

Second stop : monkey island (just to see monkeys)

Third stop: Maya Bay - full of tourists...

Free and easy for an hour after buffet lunch (included in the tour) then proceeded to Phi Phi Islands for 2hrs of fun filled snorkelling!

Day 4 : 10am flight back to Singapore! Goodbye Krabi!
