Super Japan Matsuri 2016

Despite all the bad reviews, we decided to give the matsuri a try. After all, we've never been to a Japanese summer festival so no harm going.

Indeed, there was a huge crowd and we were not surprised by that but I guess that everything was less chaotic than on Friday. The queues were much more organised and at 8.30pm the games booths were still operating.

However, we only spent 10-15 minutes at the event area because we couldn't be bothered to queue for anything and the food was really overpriced :(

There is a Uniqlo yukata booth inside Esplanade at the corner (far right) where you can try them on for free! They're having an ongoing contest where the most unique pose will stand a chance to win a yukata!

Dinner at my favourite yogurt place - Milk and Honey ! I got myself the Lilac Dream (lavender) yogurt parfait for $6.80!

Played the Tsundere / Russian Roulette cookie game. Basically 10/12 of the cookies inside the box are spicy and the loser of each round has to eat a cookie. If they are lucky enough, they would get away with a normal sweet tasting one.

You can come up with your own game to determine the loser. For us we did charades , time bomb and guess the number.

Cookies are available at Nippon-ya at Somerset 313 for $11! I do not recommend buying this for snacking purposes...

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu 5IVE YEARS MONSTER World Tour in Singapore

It's been 4 years since I became a fan of Kyary and I was really excited to be able to attend her concert for the first time last Friday! She was one of the few acts invited for Super Japan.

The concert lasted for 1h and 30 mins! Kudos to Kyary and her dance crew for the awesome concert, we really enjoyed it :)

At the end of the concert, we were all given a special KPP file.

Friday the 13th wasn't so bad after all !
